Credit cards for all 32 teams available
With the 2012 NFL season in full swing, it’s safe to say that there might be a fan or two out there looking to support his or her favorite football team.
The NFL Extra Points Credit Card is a unique credit card offer that, as of today (October 31, 2012), has a unique rewards program geared at football fans of all levels – from the casual NFL follower to die-hard fans of one NFL team or another.
With this offer, NFL credit cards are available for all 32 teams. There is also an NFL Shield available for fans who do not wish to have a team-specific card.
Fan-based rewards for NFL followers
Currently, the NFL Extra Points Credit Card gives cardholders the ability to “earn 2 points for every $1 spent on NFL or team purchases and 1 point for all other purchases” and the points can be redeemed for a variety of football-related rewards.
Examples of possible football related rewards include merchandise, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and game tickets. Cardholders can also opt to redeem points for cash back or travel-related rewards.
Introductory specials
As of today, new applicants may be eligible for a one-time bonus of 10,000 points after first use on the card (equal to $100 cash back statement credit), and the card currently has a 0% introductory APR available for qualified applicants, as well.
